- Mid-term: written test with exercises and theoretical questions on the first part of the course. The grade can eventually be improved by an additional oral test;

- Final exam: for those who passed the mid-term test, the final exam is an oral test on the remaining part of the course, plus a discussion on some problems (given in advance) to be solved through the mathematical software developed during the lectures. For those who did not pass the mid-term test, the final exam is an oral test on all the topics of the course, plus a discussion on some problems (given in advance) to be solved through the mathematical software developed during the lectures.
