How to reach Rome and INGV headquarters
By plane Rome has 2 airports: Fiumicino “Leonardo Da Vinci” Airport (FCO) and Ciampino Airport (CIA). FCO is an international airports and most of airlines land there. FCO has a fast train service (Leonardo Express) with direct connection to Termini central railways station every 15 minutes. Several bus services are available to connect CIA with Rome city centre.
By taxi Taxi service is available in both FCO and CIA airport. Fixed fare from FCO to Rome city centre is 50 EUR, from CIA to Rome city centre is 31 EUR.
By train Rome has a central station “Termini”, from which Metro Line B to LAURENTINA can be taken.
By metro and bus Metro Line B to the terminus LAURENTINA then take bus no. 765 in the direction of Arco di Travertino or the n. 702, both with a stop in front of the Institute (last stop on via di Vigna Murata).
By bus - line 766 from Trastevere Station, or 218 from P.za S. Giovanni in Laterano. Stop on via Ardeatina near the ex-Dazio. - line 765 from Arco di Travertino
